Pastel pink sofas, raw concrete walls and a Wes Anderson vibe gave us the go ahead to stay in one of the Leman Locke Apartments.
Firstly your welcomed with a super stylish, casual cafe ‘Hyde’ as you walk into the huge building. Serving top notch coffee; Volcano, Assembly + Colonna along with a range of foodie bits, it’s a great spot for a bite to eat.
After checking in and finding our room we opened the door to reveal the most instagram-able, cosiest [but super high – tech] living space you could ever dream of. With a fully equipped kitchen, huge windows, comfy bed and a pink marshmallow sofa – we were certainly feeling settled! It’s clear to see rooms have been really well designed and thought out, even the industrial style plywood wardrobe had soft closing drawers. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a little brown paper bag which had some lovely T2 teas in and Doisey & Dam chocolate.
After a great night sleep we checked out and headed back down to the cafe where we had more tasty coffee and a delicious salmon bagel.
The idea of Leman Locke Apartments is that you can essentially live there for as long as you want.... If only!!
